PHK

Minggu ketiga, beberapa penolakan datang.

Sekarang cuma berusaha menikmati posisi menjadi ibu rumah tangga. Kembali menjalani hobi memasak meskipun tidak setiap hari. Mencoba melakukan kids activities bersama anakku. Oh dan coba buka online shop juga, jual pakaian anak2. Kalau mau visit instagramnya @kinetakidshop hehe..

Just wish me luck for the future ahead :)

Pinterest & Kids Activities

Kuenya coklat, teman-teman Neta terlihat antusias ingin makan hihi..
Waktu dinyanyikan lagu selamat ulang tahun, tiup lilin, dan potong kue, Neta malah nangis.
Mungkin dia malu yaa dikelilingi teman-teman dan guru-gurunya :D

This Blog, One Year

This December, this blog is turning to one year. Yeayyy! Although I know it is not updated regularly. Oh forgive me for i-got-no-time for doing regular post. There is so much in my head but difficult to write and finish even a post in almost three months. But it's OK. This post will prove that I'm still alive. Haha.

My daughter has turning to two years also. Remember about my first post in this blog? I write the first post when she is turning to one year. This year we only have a simple celebration at home, not going to particular place with all of my family members, just because so many things happened in this year that I can't tell about it here and because so many expending in money things. Hihi. But the most important is my daughter is healthy and keep developing her ability after reach two years old. Aamiin.

Hmm.. I think that's all for today. Very very short post indeed. It's only to prove that I'm still here, I say before. Hope I can manage better my blog and.. my life. Cheers people :)

She's Gone

Saturday early morning (20/9/14), phone rang and suddenly I got up from my sleep. I saw who was calling, my mother. My heart was beating faster, because somehow I knew something not good happened. She's gone. My beloved grand mother is gone.

Only prayers that I can sent to her.. because I know, I did not do much while she was sick. May Allah accepts your kindness, Nek, for being mother for three generations, forgives your mistakes, and puts you in Jannah. Aamiin.  I also want to say thank you for people who nursed her when she was sick, my mother and all of my cousins who live in Bandung. I know we had done the best for her recovery, but Allah has better plan for her :'|

Now.. There won't be your pic again Nek if we travel to some places.. But don't worry, you're always still in my heart. Till we meet again, Nek.. I hope :)

Happy Moments with My Beloved Grandmom

Kids Activities

Surprisingly, there is a lot of activities that kids (even babies) can do. And I already realize it by looking back again to my Pinterest account. There is sooo many things to pin, to read, to do, related to parenting things that I have not known before. I am the last child in my family and I do not intensively relate to little children until I have my own daughter. So I am a newbie in this playing and having activities with kids.

Another thing that surprise me a lot is how western mothers are very diligent and care about their children's activity. They finds new ideas on kids activities and they are constantly write up on their own blog to share what have they already do. And, what surprised me the most is western mothers have including their religion into kids daily activities and mostly I find, they are Christian. They read the Bible verse to their child every day, tell them their prophets stories (regarding to Bible of course), and have a lot of media to teach their children about religion and God via toys and games that little children would like to do such as coloring, crafting, etc.

Another thing that I adore about western parenting is how they relate their kids into BOOKS. Yes, even since baby, they have given their children books. From books that contains only images, images with a little story to tell, until a real books.

And then I look into myself. What has I done to my daughter (beside doing daily routine such as breastfeeding, bathing, feeding her, and buying her needs)? Am I introducing my religion in her daily activities? Am I educating her to be what I want her to be? Those questions are slapping me on the face.

And then I decided to follow what those western mothers do, to have my own daughter's activity every day. I usually do this activity at night (after my working hour) and in the weekend. Mostly I follow kids activities schedule in this link, beside the Bible related things of course. This link is like a very complete calendar: every day activity with different thing to learn every week and different theme every month. I also only utilize stuffs that I already have at home. It minimizes me not to buy a lot of things needed for support the activities. I only bought what I really really need such as:
- Coloring & crafting equipments: crayons, glue, coloring pencils, watercolors and brush. I only have used the crayons and glue.
- Some books:  one book about introducing vegetables and one book about 25 stories of Moslem Prophets.

Here they are the activities that I have tried with my daughter:

Month 1:
Theme: Creation, Adam & Eve
Gross motor: Rolling ball
Color: Red
Letters: A, B
Shape: Circle
Al-Quran: God created all things and He maintains everything (Az-Zumar:62)

Week 1 (taken from the link September - Week 1):
- Coloring house
- Mommy dressed-up

- Baby-bottle bowling

Week 2 (taken from the link August - Week 1):
- Coloring apple
- Free-play dump and fill apple and balls
- Cut & color small apples, put apples in the floor and let your children put apples in lunch box
- Make "apple pie". On paper, make a circle (I using plate). Color it with brown and glue the small apples in top of brown circle paper.

- Rolling ball
- Coloring number 1 and 2
- Coloring letter Aa and Bb
- Read book about Adam and Eve
- Touch and play with real apples
- Sort ball by color
- Tell them: Allah made plants, grass, and dirt

Week 3 (taken from the link August - Week 2):
- Coloring bear

That's all until today.
Hope this useful for you, Mommies!
And continue with so many other activities you can find on Pinterest! :D

Outdoor Weekend Activity

Here are my outdoor weekend activities in this two weeks:

Have Lunch @ Kampoeng Aer, Serpong

Located at Gading Golf Boulevard, Serpong, Tangerang Selatan, this place is suitable for family and business gathering. This place is wide, equipped with children playground, and moreover your children can ride bicycle which available there for free. You can choose whether you want to eat indoor or outdoor in gazebo. There is also a live band who plays updated songs, very very well played, and you can request songs you like too. The food is delicious with no MSG, they said. The drink is also fresh, you can order coconut, juice, smoothies, etc. For the price, it's quite expensive I think. Better go to this place in small group :p

I went there with my hubby and my daughter, my mother, and my sister's little family who already have 3 months baby :D Here are the photo:

Dinner @ Serpong Culinary Festival, Summarecon Mall Serpong

Summarecon Mall Serpong held an event, Serpong Culinary Festival, from August 15th to September 7th. The theme was Sulawesi culinary, which the menus are Coto Makassar, Mie Cakalang, etc., but there was another Indonesian food also. There was no entering ticket, but we must fill electric card first with some money and bought the food by using that card (just like Eat & Eat). There was also stage for live performing music like kolintang, Sulawesi traditional songs, and acoustic music. Behind the stage there was a huge boat as the symbol of Sulawesi people who likes to sail over the sea. Here are the photo:

Swimming @ Aquatic Fantasy, Telaga Golf Sawangan

My daughter already have a new swimming suit to wear (hehehe) so we decided to take her to swim at Aquatic Fantasy, located at Telaga Golf Residence at Sawangan, Depok. In the weekend, the entering ticket is IDR 35K per person (more than 2 years) or IDR 100K for family package (4 person). There is two swimming pool area, the first area is more for children, where the pool depth is shallow. In other area, there is still swimming pool for children but there is also swimming pool for adult. Last weekend, me, my hubby, and my baby were having first family trip. Actually it coincided with my birthday on Friday (June 20th) hehehe. Me and my hubby decided to have annual leave on Friday and have vacation at Puncak until Sunday.

On first day, we left home around 8.30 am and then check in at Parama Hotel (Cisarua) around 12.00 pm. We decided not to went anywhere. Just have a lunch at Padang Restaurant near hotel, playing at playground, and swimming at hotel swimming pool.

 Playground @ Parama
Swimming @ Parama

On the second day, we went to Taman Matahari. Riding "Bebek Gowes" and Paddle Boat which are included in entering ticket. After that, we went around Taman Matahari with Wara-Wiri Car and "Delman". My baby also played at coin games and she looked so happy :D Last, we went to Fish Spa where our feet was eaten by little fish. But don't worry, it's a kind of reflexology. So our feet is undamaged hihihi.

And then we went to Cimory Mountain View to have a lunch. I ordered Fish and Chips while my hubby ordered Floured Snapper Fillet and the drink was of course Cimory Fresh Milk. You can choose plain milk, or flavored milk (strawberry, chocolate, banana, and coffee).

Me @ Cimory Mountain View

On the night, we went to Night Safari at Taman Safari which only open on Saturday night, start at 18.30 pm. We ride on articulated bus to see animal's activity on the night. It's kind of scary because of dark condition and there was surprises happened that risen our adrenaline. After that we went to Baby Zoo, where you can take a photo with orang utan, lion, tiger, and snake. We also take a ride on train to go around the Baby Zoo, which is kind of scary too. Or maybe just me being scared. Hihihi.. There is also animals show and fire dance show before we decided to went back to hotel.

For two times dinner, we choose street culinary, grilled chicken, near hotel which only open at night. It's a delicious chicken with tender meat, plus delicious condiment and unique vegetables (beside lettuce, there is mint leaves). So yummeh! :9

On last day, we checked out at around 12 pm and then have a lunch at another Cimory Restaurant: Cimory Riverside. I ordered sausage and my hubby ordered green fried rice. The food portion is less than food portion at Cimory Mountain View. Though, Cimory Riverside has a bigger place, a playground, and a photo spot like this:

Long Time No See, Dear My Blog!

More than two months I don't write on this blog. It's because lack of internet connection in my new office and I have assigned in a project, though not a project that planned I intended before. But it's OK, at least I don't get bored anymore at office. Hahaha.

There's so many stories in this two months but I kind a little bit forget for what I've done. Not so much photos or updates that I post in social media though. There is a moment when I think that people who always take photos and post updates on social media are annoying. So I think, I don't want to be like that kind of person. But however, writing is still my interest. And I think I will keep to continue writing in this blog.

Hopefully the internet connection is better and I have more time to keep writing.

Cheers! :)

Bogor City Travelling

Last Saturday my family and my brother in law's family had a vacation at Bogor. Bogor is kinda like Bandung, city that many Jakarta people go to there while holiday. First, we went to buy roti unyil at Venus and brownies talas at Rumah Talas. After that, we went to Bogor Botanical Garden. At there, we just take walk around, see "Jembatan Gantung", take photo near rare trees and went to Bhineka Park. At that park, there is a eagle bird relief from plants and flowers. Below are the photos:

Bhinneka Park at Bogor Botanical Garden (taken from travel.detik.com.)

My family at the park

From Bogor Botanical Garden, we went to SKI Tajur, where there is a bag & shoes sale center, playground for children, and food court. My daughter and her cousins are very happy playing there. They ride mini becak, battery train, and with the parents ride combo bicycle :)

At Bogor Botanical Garden and SKI Tajur

For the closing of vacation, we choose Pizza Kayu Bakar Kedai Kita for dinner. This restaurant is so full of the traveler, especially from Jakarta. We must wait first before we can eat there. Fortunately, before the big rain, we get seat in there and we get the "lesehan" seat style. Yeayyy! We ordered Pizza BBQ Smoked Beef, Spaghetti Carbonara, I Fu Mie, Cap Cay, and Special Fried Rice. Overall the food is delicious and the portion is so big! It can be eaten by two people I think :)

Hmmm.. so many places at Bogor that we have not been visited, like Pia Apple and so on. Hopefully next time, me and my family can be back to more explore the Bogor city!

Long Weekend in Bandung (Mar '14)

Long weekend last month, my hubby, my baby, and I went to Bandung again :) Not so many place we visited that week because on the first day we went to there, Cipularang toll road was in traffic jam. We just visited Bebek Dower on Rest Area to have a lunch and after we arrived at home, it was rainy. So we couldn't go anywhere.

In the second day, my hubby, my baby, my mother, and I went out to Paris Van Java (PVJ). Actually, the traffic is not good too and there was still rainy, even the water above the road was flooding. But fortunately, we still arrived there. We had lunch at Richeese Factory, where the portion of food couldn't make we full so we ordered two times hahaha.. The food was yummy and the cheese sauce is the thing that make this place is different with other restaurant. The hot spicy chicken is the best food in there I think :9 After that, we visited the Lactasari Farm at PVJ Sky Level, where children can give milk and food to goat, sheep, and rabbit. But we didn't enter this place, just take the photo outside because I think my daughter had not understand the activity :)

In front of Lactasari Farm PVJ

On the evening, my hubby, my baby, and I went to Batagor Ibenk's located in front of Polres Cimahi. But the batagor is sold out, so we ordered mie yamin. And it's delicious! Hahahaha.. Every long weekend all we do is just eating and eating.

On the third day, we just went back to Jakarta. See you again Bandung, on this month's long weekend! :)

One Year Kid's Activity

Inspired by Pinterest, I would like to post about one year kid's activity that is taken from my daughter's activity of course :)

Here are the list:

1. Eat by herself

Even though her appetite is decreasing after she reach one year old, but her ability to take the food into her mouth by herself is increasing. It is better to serve her a finger food such as fruits like watermelon or papaya than serve her rice and soup, because in the end the food will be messy on the floor, on her face and her clothes. She also likes to eat biscuits like picture below:

2. Sleeping or get relaxed

All baby and kid relatively like this activity. While sleeping, baby's and kid's brain is developed. My daughter still have a nap 1-3 times day and a night sleep like an adult ;p She also likes to get relaxed at the top of many pillows and/or blanket like this photo:

3. Take a bath in water bucket and of course playing with water

My daughter love to playing with water, like any other child. She takes a bath two times a day, in the morning and in the afternoon. After she can stand up by herself, she takes a bath like adult, not in the baby bucket anymore. But she still likes get into water bucket (the bucket that usually used for soaking clothes) and playing with the ball in that bucket.

4. Watching and listening kids song from VCD

My hubby is bought some VCD containing kids songs for my daughter. She likes it very much. Even if she want to watch it, she tries plug the cables by herself, to tell anyone that she wants to watch it. While watching it, she can extremely serious or dancing by herself :D

5. Playing

All kids love playing. My daughter likes to play ball and any other toys, push little trolley, make scribbled on the magnetic board, or just making mess at home hehehe.. She also likes playing with her cousin or stay under the bed. What a kid :)

6. Riding bicycle

She loves to be pushed while she is riding her bicycle :)

7. Have a walk in the afternoon and have a vacation with me and my hubby on the weekend

My daughter is a kid that can not be at home for whole day. She likes when we get her out of the house, even only go to near neighborhood. She even like to wear shoes and raise one's hand to her jacket after afternoon bath, try to tell that she want to have a walk in the afternoon with her grandpa.

8. Have a cuddles at the bed

Me and my hubby likes to have a cuddle with my daughter at the bed. Make her laugh by tempting, tickling, or kissing her and she also likes to riding me as a horse ;)

9. Learning to kiss and talk

She now can kisses hand when meet a people and gives a kiss bye when someone is leaving house. She can say "daaah" for bye bye, "muah" for a kiss, "jatuh" while drop something, "ga mau" when she don't wants something, "iya" when she agrees something, "nek" and "kek" for calling her grandma and grandpa, while calling my hubby "a" and calling me "ka" because I call my hubby "Aa" and my hubby call me "Ika" hahaha.. She also likes talking by herself while holding a phone, just like adult talking with their phone ;)

10. Reading books

I give her pillows book that colorful and has a short story in there. I also have already bought a books that contains 365 stories to be read before bed time. Hopefully I can habituate reading story before she gets asleep (before I myself get asleep hehehe..).

Simple Cooking from Frozen Vegetables

I know, it's healthier to use fresh vegetables than frozen vegetables. But after I see the composition on the frozen vegetables package, it's safe! Because the composition is only the vegetables (carrot, corn, peas, and beans), not added by preservative or even salt and sugar. So I decide to cook using it and I find that those vegetables can be cooked in some recipes variation that relative simple. Yeay! Here they are:

1. Vegetable Soup

Slice onion and garlic, put in in a pan. Add water until boiling. Put frozen vegetables to the pan and then add salt, sugar, and pepper. You can also add meatball, sausage, quail eggs, macaroni, chicken, or fish fillet to the soup!

2. Vegetable Saute

Boil frozen vegetable in the water and then drain. Slice onion and garlic. Put cooking oil in the pan and then add onion and garlic. After that, put the cooked frozen vegetable, salt, sugar, and pepper. Stir well. You can also add meatball, sausage, or any other ingredients you want to add :)

3. Vegetable Omelet

Boil frozen vegetable in the water and then drain. Stir eggs in a bowl and then add salt, pepper, and the vegetable. Cook in a pan. Tadda! Your veggie omelet is done.

4. Vegetable Fried Rice

Boil frozen vegetable in the water and then drain. Slice onion and garlic. Put margarine in the pan and then add onion and garlic. Add egg to the pan and then stir. Add rice, vegetable, salt, and pepper. Stir well. It's done!

5. Vegetable "Bakwan"

Boil frozen vegetable in the water and then drain. Put flour in a bowl, add water and then stir. Put the vegetables in the bowl and add salt and pepper. Heat cooking oil in a pan fry, deep fry one spoon table vegetable dough in the oil. Do it until the dough is all over.

6. Vegetable "Risol"

Boil frozen vegetable in the water and then drain. Boil quail eggs and then peel the shell. Mix the vegetable and quail eggs until the eggs is delicate. Prepare spring roll skin, add one spoon table mixed vegetable and egg. Roll the spring roll skin and stick the border with egg white. Deep fry the "risol". Nyaaam :9

Weekend @ Mall

Basically, me and my husband don't very much like go to the mall. Usually we go to parents' house, shop groceries for one week or have a street culinary on the weekend ;) But last weekend, we went to malls that we have not been visited.

On Saturday, we went to Bintaro Xchange Mall. It's a new mall indeed, near Bintaro toll exit. It's a big mall even though not all of stores have been opened. We bought some breads at Bread Talk and dinner at Fiesta Steak. After that, we watch live music outdoor. Enjoying a Saturday night ambiance :)

And then on Sunday, we went to Margo City Depok. Actually, we only plan to eat ramen located at Margonda Raya that we seen on TV, but it was sold out (hahahah). Until we decided to go to the mall again because of the weather is kinda rainy. In there, we had a dinner at Ichiban Sushi. I ordered spicy ramen and my hubby ordered Beef Bento. But in the end, I eat my hubby's food because I can't endure the spiciness of ramen ;p After that we tried new JCo products which is happening now: Cronut.

The photos below are my daughter's photos on last weekend:

My Grandmother, The Real Mother

This writing is dedicated for my grandmother, mother of my father, that dedicates her life as a housewife, and takes care three generations of my family. She does all the household things carefully until now, in the age of 80s. She still does cooking, sweeping, cleaning, washing, ironing, and all of the things a mother does. She loves her home and her garden very much. In her garden, she plants flowers, chilli, cayenne pepper, scallions and another herbs. She is a very caring mother. She can feel what her children and grandchildren feel. She always prays for us, for the good sake of the future life. She always thinks family first.

Now she is being sick in the hospital because of stroke attack. Only pray that I can give for her now, after all of the things she has done for me. I am sorry Nek, I can't take care of you while you need it.. I hope Allah gives you patience, so you can back to your lovely home, back to take care your beautiful garden. And I can see you smile again..

Wait for me, Nek. I will see you again in this Saturday. Please be strong..

Making The Good Habits

Here they are some habits that I must done:
1. Sleep after my baby sleeps.
2. When at home, only touch the phone while there is direct message, direct phone, or something urgent. Unless the baby is sleeping.
3. Do household things when my baby sleeps. Unless we can do it together or I really really must do it.
4. Get up in the morning before Shubuh and do the prayer!
Wish me luck, friends :)
