What I Wear to Work

At the past, I was a girl that not very interested to the way I look, the clothes I wear, or you can say I was a boyish girl. I just wore jeans pants, t-shirt, simple hijab, and sneakers ;p But lately, maybe because I'm a wife and a mother too, I kind of interested of how do I look today? What do clothes I wear? Is it matching with the shoes and the hijab? Hehehe..

Although I'm not a fashion addict, I think by wearing a nice and proper clothes, it shows that you appreciates yourself. A good appearance makes you confidence and comfort with yourself. From that feelings you can be visible beautiful :)

And although I'm not a fashion blogger, I just want to post "What I Wear to Work" for today hehehe..

Casya Hijab, Lea Jeans Shirt, Arshel Pants, Up Wedges

Oya, actually I do this post inspired by a fashion blog that I like to read which is dianarikasari.blogspot.com. Diana is a fashion blogger, a shoes designer, and the owner of Up Wedges (the shoes that I wear in the photo). Her blog and herself are inspiring. Maybe you can check the link :)

I think that's it for today. Happy Friday! :)

14 Months of Breastfeeding

My baby has turned out to age 14 months. She already can walk, talk one-two sentences, and have four teeth. For this 14 months, I also have breastfeeding her without any help from another type of milk, beside my breastmilk. I can say I'm happy, proud, and a little bit sad.

I'm happy because I am successful give her the best nutrition, the best antibodi, that another milk can't give. I'm proud because it's not an easy process. At the beginning when my daughter was born, my breastmilk seems like not there. My baby didn't drink anything for three days. The hospital didn't allow to give her formula milk (that I thankful now). She seemed a little bit yellow. My baby was crying and wanting to drink milk but I didn't have it. And I just can cry.. How can my baby was crying and I can't give her anything? For the first time, I felt fail as a mother.

But thankfully I didn't surrender. I still try to breastfeed her, buy manual breast pump, and determined to only give her my breast milk. I can say there was still a lot of shortage of mine as a new mother. I can not endure during nights, my hubby gave her water while I was sleeping because exhausted, also gave her 'oralit' while we wasn't knowing that a new born baby naturally has to poop 10 times a day. And addition of those crying moments because of baby blues and because of others talking negative things about me as a new mother made breastfeeding process is not a simple thing.

Not only lack of breast milk that made me cry. Even when the breast milk is in much amount, it can be also made me cry. It happened because I didn't routine pump my breast milk. The dry breast milk was locking the way out and after been sucked by my baby, pumped, and massage by using warm water, it still can't be fixed. My breast was swollen and painful when I touched it. The only way to fix it was by cleaning the dry breast milk in my hilt, even it turned out to bleeding :'( And it's not happen once, but several times.. I thank God I can survive and pass those situations.

And then this time is coming. I'm sad, because I have to accept that my breast milk is decreasing in the second year. The stock in the refrigerator is also decreasing. While my baby still having three times a day drink milk when I am working. And I make a choice to add plain UHT milk starting this Monday. I'm starting with 80% breast milk and 20% UHT milk. Fortunately until today, her digestion system is OK.

Oh Dear, honestly I want to still only breastfeed you until you are 2 years, without any help from other type of milk. But I must accept the fact that I can't. But the most important thing is this breastfeeding moments are worth to struggle because you, my daughter, is worthy.

My five racks breast milk, some are blooded
(Now only ten plastics left)

My daughter,
I will still breastfeed you when I'm home, and I will still pumping two times a day when I'm at office. OK? :)

Happy 2nd Anniversary Dear My Hubby

Yesterday, 12-2-14, was my hubby and I 2nd Anniversary. No much celebration, just hug and kiss and end up with family dinner.

I feel that time run fast until I think that I have known my hubby for a long long time. There is so much happiness with smooth and harmony relationship, although there is also hardness time. But the most important think is we are still all together and still enjoy the togetherness :)

I also thank God, to give a daughter for my hubby and I. Because of her, we learn to be a better person, a more responsible people, a best parents.

I only can be grateful to God because so much good things that happen to me lately, through this marriage, through this little family. Even I feel a little bit guilty if I pray to ask some other good things. But I'm sure, God is hear my pray..

Thank you Allah, for sent me a guardian and an angel.

Love you both :)

Long Weekend in Bandung (Jan '14)

Last long weekend was family and leisure time :) There was Chinese New Year holiday on Friday, so we had three days off without having any leave at office. Yeayyy!

On Friday, my mother, my grandmother, and my brother in law first came to my home from Cimahi. We were planning to visit our relative's house at Tangerang because our relative's daughter was married. After that, we directed to go to Cimahi.

At Cimahi, usually my hubby and I are having culinary leisure and we love to search a new place to eat. On Friday night, we planned to go to new Ramen & Dim Sum Cafe near KFC Cibabat, but unfortunately it was closed. So we decided to have dinner at Yogya Plaza Cimahi and choose Clemmons as our menu.

On Saturday, my family and I went to Alam Wisata Cimahi. It's located at Kolonel Masturi Street, one of way to Lembang from Cimahi. At that place, there is restaurant with Sundanese menu, outbond facility, such as flying fox and ATV, a swimming pool, a lot of traditional snack counter such as Batagor, Tahu Gejrot, Pempek, etc, and there is also a kids playground and other facilities. It's relatively complete and the location is near from my grandmother's house. So we can spend much time at the place, not at the traffic :)

Below are some photos of our vacation in Alam Wisata Cimahi:

On the Saturday night, my hubby, my baby, and I were going to Roti Bakar Madtari at Rangga Gading Street near UNISBA. By using internet and GPS, alhamdulillah we found this place hehehe.. This place is so full of people, especially in Saturday night. The menu are roasted bread and Indomie that full of cheese! And also warm drink such as bajigur, milk, etc.

On Sunday, my hubby, my baby, and I were not going anywhere because in the afternoon we were coming back to our home. See you again holiday! :)
